TIKITAKA J2A Leverless Controller: Angled Panel, Custom Layouts and Magnetic Access

The TIKITAKA J2A is a leverless controller designed to combine generous playing space, personal customization and convenient maintenance.

It features a 360mm-wide angled panel and supports standard, split and custom button layouts, along with custom panel artwork. At approximately 1.2kg, the J2A offers a full-size playing surface while remaining practical to move around or carry outside the home.

A Wide Angled Panel for Desk and Lap Play

The J2A measures 360 × 230mm, providing plenty of room for both hands.

Its panel uses an angled structure that is higher at the front and lower at the rear, helping it follow the natural angle of your hands. Whether used on a desk or on your lap, it provides a wide and stable playing area.

The controller weighs approximately 1.2kg. It feels stable during play without becoming excessively heavy, making it convenient to move around the home or carry when travelling.

Actual comfort will vary depending on hand size, desk height and playing posture.

Choose a Standard Layout or Customize It Around Your Hands

The J2A offers two regular layouts:

Type A and Type B are regular configurations that can be selected when ordering. They are not part of the custom-layout service.

If neither regular layout fits your needs, you can choose a custom button layout and adjust button positions around your hand size, finger movement and frequently used inputs.

Create Your Own Panel Artwork

The J2A also supports custom panel artwork. Upload your own design file to apply a favorite character, color scheme or original artwork to the controller.

Whether you select Type A, Type B or a custom button layout, custom artwork requires the corresponding customization option and submission of a design file.

By customizing both the button layout and panel artwork, you can build a controller that better reflects your playing habits and visual style.

Short-Travel Kasumi Switches for Light, Fast Inputs

The J2A comes standard with TIKITAKA's original Kasumi switches, developed for fighting game inputs.

The shallow actuation point and short total travel make it possible to register inputs with smaller finger movements. This suits players who want a light touch and fast consecutive inputs.

Players accustomed to longer-travel switches may initially find the Kasumi switches more sensitive. With practice, gradually changing from firm presses to lighter touches makes it easier to take advantage of the short-travel design.

The J2A button system supports both Kailh and Gateron switch mounts, allowing players to choose switches according to their preferred feel.

Magnetic Top-Panel Access for Easier Maintenance

The J2A uses a one-piece magnetic top panel, allowing the case to be opened without removing screws.

This provides easier access when cleaning the interior, checking connections or removing the panel, while reducing the need to repeatedly use tools.
