Explanation of various setting methods

Details on how to set up on the WEB configuration screen (192.168.7.1)

You can manage and change your device settings directly in your PC browser (Chrome is recommended).

First, connect the device to your PC while holding down the button assigned to START.

After connecting, enter “192.168.7.1” in your browser’s address bar to access the device’s Web Config screen.

Current Input Mode: Allows you to switch which platform the device operates on. Select “Xinput” when using it on a PC.

D-pad Mode: Always set this to “D-pad.” If the movement keys do not respond, it is usually because this setting is not set to “D-pad.”

SOCD Cleaning Mode: Configures how inputs are handled when pressing left + right or up + down simultaneously. For Street Fighter 6, the default is “Neutral”, and in tournaments, using anything other than “Neutral” is prohibited. Please set it according to the rules of the game you are playing.

This page lets you configure which platform the device runs on depending on which button you hold down while connecting. If you mainly use the device on only one platform and don’t need to switch input modes, we recommend turning all shortcuts OFF to prevent unintended operations.

This page configures shortcuts that trigger when pressing certain button combinations while the device is connected. If you don’t plan to use shortcuts, set them all to “No Action” to avoid accidental operations.

This page allows you to reassign buttons. Click “GPIO PIN Viewer,” then press the button on your device that you want to change — the corresponding PIN number will be displayed. Edit the displayed number to reassign the input.
Finally, press “Save” to apply the settings. Don’t forget to save your changes.

How to set up for use with PlayStation 5

When using on PS5, you will need either the PS5 version of the device or a PS5 authentication device connected to the EX port.
Once these conditions are met, set the Input Mode to PS5 to enable use on PS5. (For the PS5 version, the Input Mode is preset to PS5 at shipment, so no adjustment is required.)

With TIKITAKA’s default firmware, PS5 settings are already configured.
However, if the device has been reset or settings have been changed, please set both “Input Mode Setting” and “Peripheral Mapping” as shown in the images below. This configuration also works for PS4.

How to set up for use with Nintendo Switch and Switch 2

When using with Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2, set the “Input Setting” to “Nintendo Switch.” Switch 2 also operates in Nintendo Switch mode.

All TIKITAKA products can be used with this setting alone.

PS4/PS5 compatibility

How to use with PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5

  • If you are using it with a Playstation 4, you must use PS4 mode. To switch to PS4 mode, hold down the "LT" key (see key layout chart) when starting up and connecting to a PS4.
*This is the default setting method for TIKITAKA products.

  • If you want to use it with PlayStation 5, you will need to purchase the PS5 version. Set the connection mode to PS and press the HOME key at startup to have it recognized by PlayStation.

If your PS4 or PS5 becomes unresponsive after a while

  • If an incompatible controller is connected to the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, the connection will be lost after approximately 8 minutes.
If you wish to continue using it, you will need to use a PlayStation compatible model.

  • This happens if you purchase the PC version and try to use it on PlayStation.
If you want to use it on PlayStation, please purchase the PS5 version.

It's the PS5 version but there's no response on PlayStation

  • In this case, it is likely that the connection mode is set to something other than PS5.
Please read the instruction manual for your model and set it to PS5 mode before using it.
  • If you connect to your PlayStation while pressing any button, the shortcut function will change the connection mode. If your PlayStation suddenly stops responding even though it was working fine before, it's likely that the connection mode was changed by this operation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there any setup required before first use?

  • The product is configured at the factory according to the version you ordered, so you can use it right away without any further configuration.

(If you purchase the PS5 version, it will default to PS5 mode, and if you purchase the standard version, it will default to PC mode.)

What causes sudden disconnections during gameplay?

In most cases, this is due to a broken cable or poor contact in the USB port.
The next thing to consider is insufficient power supply.
Please try the following solutions in this order:

1. Change the USB port on the controller. Each product has two or more USB ports, so try using a USB port that is not normally used.
2. Replace the cable. A shorter cable is less likely to break, and a fast-charging cable will provide a more stable connection.
3. Make sure you are not using the USB port on the front of your computer (this may cause unstable power supply). Use the USB port on the back of your PC that is directly connected to the motherboard, not the front USB port.

Why is my OLED screen blurry?

  • If the table top is matte, the screen may become blurry.

  • Applying clear tape or a screen protector can help reduce blur.

How do I set up the LEDs?

  • Press the following buttons simultaneously to change the brightness and lighting pattern.

SELECT + START + X: Next animation
SELECT + START + A: Previous animation
SELECT + START + Y: Increase brightness
SELECT + START + B: Decrease brightness
SELECT + START + RB: Increase LED parameter
SELECT + START + RT: Lower LED parameter
SELECT + START + LB: Increase the pressed parameter
SELECT + START + LT: Decrease the pressed parameter

How to set up the side lights on the M16 series?

  • Download the app called "LED LAMP" from your mobile app store.

  • Open the app and turn on the Bluetooth connection (the app will automatically recognize your device)

What is an EXT.Port?

  • The EXT. port is used to connect PS5 and XBOX certified devices.

  • Do not connect to a computer or game console using this port.

What is the WEB CONFIG screen?

  • This is the controller settings screen, which can be operated on a computer browser. You can configure various settings for the controller, such as shortcut settings, button pin mapping, display, and LED patterns.

  • To start it, hold down the "Start" button and connect it to your PC.

(If your device has an OLED screen, it will show you the settings mode.)

  • Next, access http://192.168.7.1 in your web browser to display the admin page.
Enter "192.168.7.1" in the address bar.

Do not click "Reset Settings" as this may render your product unusable!
