Notice: Shipping Delays and Suspensions Due to Typhoon and Earthquake (Japan Domestic)

Yamato Transport and Sagawa Express have issued notices about the latest delivery status due to an approaching typhoon and an earthquake centered off the coast of Iwate Prefecture. Due to disruptions across transport networks, deliveries in some areas of Japan are currently delayed.

Going forward, delays in accepting and delivering packages may occur throughout Japan due to flight and rail suspensions or delays, highway closures, and traffic restrictions.

• Miyakojima City, Okinawa Prefecture

Areas already experiencing delivery delays

• Shipments from all regions to Shikoku, Kyushu, and all of Okinawa Prefecture

• Shipments from Shikoku, Kyushu, and all of Okinawa Prefecture to all regions

Areas where delivery delays may occur going forward

• Shipments from all regions to western Japan

• Shipments from western Japan to all regions
